The Urban Decay Beach Palette launched some while ago and was almost daily in use over summer. The shades of this beautiful eyeshadow palette truly scream “summer!” and are just perfect for this season. The shades remind me of the sea, the beach, mussels and also of fire. Why fire? Because some of the colors are almost the same as those of the Naked Heat. You know, the ones with the flames. To be really honest I bought it because of those two absolutely stunning blue shades. And whoever said blue eyes don’t go with blue eyeshadow lied. Seriously. If you do it right there is nothing wrong with using every color you ever like. The quality of the shades is amazing as always. This is the main reason why I only buy Urban Decay eyeshadows and nothing else. They’re smooth, they’re opaque, they’re perfectly shining. Well, I love them.
So you already know now that Double Dip and Plunge are my favorite ones. But can we please notice how awesome Heatwave and 16th Street are? Also Salt is a pretty cool and nice color to blend and highlight. It looks like shimmering sand on a beautiful beach you wish you could spend your holidays on. Every color in this palette has its purpose for a great summer look. The reds and browns of this palette remind me of a barbecue party with friends and some nice summer jams surrounding smoke and party people.
Where to get
If you already have it, congrats honey! You’ve got the perfect eyeshadow friend for your hot Sommer parties and beach vibes. If you don’t, don’t worry. You can still get this beauty. At least if you’re living in Germany. Parfumdreams still has some for 38,95 € (I’m pretty sure I did not pay that much but maybe I had a coupon. I’m sorry I can’t remember). I got mine at UD Galeria Kaufhof in Stuttgart right after it was released. US friends, it seems like the palette is out of stock on the UD website and I truly don’t know where you can still get it…
This post was no part of any cooperation and in no way influenced by the brand. Everything that was said is my personal opinion.
My latest blog collaboration was with Tosave which is a shopping site similar to Wish, the system is comparable to Amazon. The products are asian production and come with a very low cost.
The costs of the products can be very attractive.
I choose three clothing items since I was very curious about the quality and two beauty products because I am a fan of face masks and asian beauty products are said to be very good.
The first item I chose was a knitted sweater with reindeers on it. I thought it would be perfect for Christmas but that didn’t work since the parcel came by the end of January (two months after it was sent unfortunately).
I am normally wearing S but since I know that clothes from Asia tend to be a bit smaller, I choose M. As you can see I chose well and it fits perfectly.I really like the style of this sweater since I am a big fan of cute shirts and sweaters and it is also warm. The sweater costs 11,80 $ which is a bargain.
The thing I am a bit skeptical about is: There were no tags on the sweater, no label. According to the website the sweater is 100% cotton but I can’t see it on the sweater. Also I am not a fan of not knowing were clothes are made, so I wish there were some information.
The second item I choose was a very cute plaid dress in red which I also had in mind for Christmas since red is a total Christmas color to me. Anyways I also wear red the year around, so no big deal.
I also chose M here and it fits, but could be 1-2cm longer.
It costs 9,85 $ and is also a super bargain since it is 100% linen and it actually truly is! The dress was the only clothing item that had tags on it and information about washing it. So this is what I missed with the sweater, some tag to tell the material and how to handle it when cleaned.
As I said the dress is 100% linen, so it is very thin and needs something underneath because it might be see-through standing in front of light. I can think of a beautiful winter styling with black tights, overknee boots and a cardigan. I will actually style it that way soon and post an outfit post with it.
The third and last clothing item I chose is a plain loose short sleeve T-shirt in beige for 5,25 $.
With the shirt I actually made a mistake with the size. Tosave offers charts under the item description where you can see what the sizes actually mean and out of habit I also took M. The shirt is short in the front and a bit longer in the back. It also has cuts on both sides. So the shirt is not too small, but I would have liked to wear it with leggings and it is too short for that, also the side cuts are very high, so it needs a top underneath. Otherwise it would reveal way too much.
No tags with the shirt, so same thing as the sweater. The website also says cotton and that might be true but no signs of how to clean it or where it actually comes from. It just looks different from what I saw on the website, so that is actually an item I won’t be wearing since it is too small for me and I am also not a fan of the thin material.

Formula 10.0.6 sells a lot of different face products, such as masks, cleansers, scrubs and moisturizers. According to their website the company was founded 1933 by pharmacists which explains the natural ingredients. You can find more information about all the ingredients here.
The first product I tried was the “keep your cool” gel mask because a dear friend got me the mask in Australia. They’re not available in Germany unfortunately, I ordered those via the US Amazon website.
I ordered this set of four masks because I was so happy with the “keep your cool” gel that I totally got hyped and wanted to try other ones.
In my last beauty review post I have already shown you my new favorites and the Naked HEAT palette is one of them. So everyone already knows that I adore this eyeshadow palette and am more than thrilled with the colors and the quality. Yet I still wanted to do an extra post about it.
This is my second mass review of beauty products. I have a lot of things to show you since I had no time to do extra posts lately. There are some new products and some of my favorite all time products. You know what they say… old but gold.
